Fitness Goals: -Reach and maintain my 185 lb goal weight. According to the BMI charts I would still be "overweight", but I'll reassess this goal when I reach it. -Weight workouts 2-3 x a week -Cardio workouts 2-3 x a week -Drink 8 glasses of water daily -Eat smaller meals throughout the day. Portion Control!!! -8 hours of sleep
Spend more time with my family
1) Road and mountain biking
2) Portion control during meals, especially dinner
Thanks for the link on single speed bikes - that is what my neighbor races. It confirmed my concerns that single speed doesn't really mean simpler. My neighbor changes his front teeth depending on the course and that seems way too sophisticated for me. I think I'll stick with my 3x8 for the time being.
