Part Two for real:

Like 95% of people I gained the weight back. I am divorcing from a 28 year relationship and I lost my thyroid to Graves disease. You know life, that thing you get while you are making other plans.

So I've returned to Spark where I last felt my inner invincible self. I'm putting one foot in front of the other; humbled by the graciousness of the Spark friends who have welcomed me back and cheer me on.

Part One:
I LOST 80 POUNDS SINCE OCT. 2008. 50 POUNDS SINCE JOINING SPARK PEOPLE IN MARCH 2009.

Spark People aligned with all my best intentions and choices and gave me the tools and support to get done!

I am Done being overweight!
I am Done being the fat girl!!

Because I got:
Done laying on my butt!
Done overeating!
Done not working towards my goals!
Done making poor choices!

Big thank yous to all the Spark People who have helped and encouraged me because you show me that even without full understanding I can achieve my goals.
I cannot possibly repeat this enough.

July 15 2016 goal: weigh 192.

My new goal is to lose the 50 pounds I gained back and then maintain a healthy weight range: 140-145.

My Program:
Working on portion control and exercise. "I'm on a low-crap diet and a get-off-your-butt exercise plan."

Good grief I am so sorry to hear about your divorce. Sending so many hugs! And holy moses, Graves disease?! You've really been having a rough time. The thyroid has to be helping the weight gain, right?! No fair. You and your strength are amazing!

Well, let's see...how long has it been?
It would take at least a spa day!
I'm sorry to hear about your divorce...never ever easy.
I am still the same sickeningly positive person I have ever been, in the face of any and all adversity...not sure how that works.
Seriously, if I had to sum it up...still happily retired, now 64, Grammy to three adorable wee ones, almost lost my dear man a few years back so am apreciating him more now (embarrassed to admit), still struggling with my weight (duh)... Lost almost 30 lbs in 2009 and slowly (in the next 3 years- regained 25 of it).
I try to live in the moment and enjoy every day without forgetting that I don't want to regret things tomorrow.
    Does that make sense?
I hope you are well and blog soon...I miss your sense of humor!
