Been slow to sign on again but it was a good week. Just busy catching up on things. Got all my exercising in. I love walking too especially with my dog in the woods. Miss mountains and forests of the Northwest but have woodsy walks nearby and my dog loves splashing in lakes. I am director of a child care, ages 6 weeks through grade school. Left the corporate world so I could be in the same place as my kids when they were small. Now I get paid in hugs and sloppy kisses, and my kids are older so I've thought of leaving but it feels like such a worthwhile job. We could use more money as the kids are getting to college years, but I'm not sure I could go back to pushing papers. emoticon

Hi my sweetie, I sure do appreciate you taking the time to read my blog in my continuing saga. Sometimes that's all it takes: to know that someone took the time and cares. Thank you.

    Hugs,
    Renie

Haha! Don't be silly. I wouldn't think that your silence meant that you're mad. I'm a mom to a 4 year old, which can be pretty daunting. I can't even imagine what being a mom of 3 is like! I've had to cut back on Spark time, too. Our relationships with God and our family should come first, so I hope you unplug as much as you need. Have a wonderful day! =D

Whew! Last week was crazy. Didn't find time to log in, and did mainly shorter workouts, but I did something every day. And a lot of my activities were fairly physical (rolling dumplings for hours at a chicken & dumpling fundraiser for my son's band and setting up/tearing down for our Grandparents Lunch at the preschool where I work) so I guess I'll consider it a successful week. Can't believe I'm almost to the end of the month!

I had been doing the workouts offered on the website, but when I started the 28-day challenge I actually ordered Coach Nicole's 28 Day Bootcamp video. It has a mix of 12- 20- and 30-minute workout segments that you can mix and match or just follow a 28-day plan that is laid out. I like it because, although you could do the same workout by piecing together various short videos on the website, I just wouldn't. Every time the short video ends woud be a tempting exit point for me! Can't remember the exact price--but it was pretty cheap--I spent more on the single set of hand weights I bought to go along with the workouts. Worth a try if you want something new.

Thank you, my sweet friend, I do appreciate your well wishes and am sure they often are as good for you, if not better, than the medical care we receive.

    You are marvelous,
    Renie
