My New Season of Change!

It is time to change my introduction! I am happy with who I am! I am working on my health, and feel as though I am making some real changes. 2014 is going to be a great year for me! I have already made significant changes in my cholesteral levels and sugar levels. I am working hard on the weight, but apparently not hard enough! I need to watch all those little things that add up. Coffee creamer, taste bites, etc. WE CAN DO IT in 2014!

I'm excited about being the team cheerleader for the 2014 Spring 5% Challenge: Walkers, Runners, Joggers & Gadgeters! The Winter challenge worked well at getting me off my butt, and I met my goal! I'm hoping for the same results from the Spring Challenge! Its up to me!

My Goals:
In October of 2013 my doctor told me I was pre-diabetic. Then in December I noticed on my medical treatment screen that I had been diagnosed with obesity. I was shocked! This is not going to happen. Although I know that I will never weigh what I did in high school, I am motivated to get a grasp on both of those to illnesses!

My Program:
I'm still getting this together. It is a program of adding small changes to my life.

BMI

Obese: 30 and over
Overweight: 25-29.9
Normal weight: 18.5-24.9
Underweight: less than 18

3/31/14: 26.6

Heya Poppie!! Thanks for commenting on my page!!

I thought that visual was a cool idea as well!! I invested $3 at The Dollar tree to purchase the jars and the glass stones.....

I actually got this idea either on Pinterest or out here on SP...I can't remember where I saw it! Anywho, I love it!! You can actually use it for lots of things, countdowns, etc.

It encourages me to empty that "pounds to go" jar quickly!!! :) emoticon
