I thank my precious Abba Father (Creator God) for all He has allowed, is allowing, & will allow in my life! May all the glory for any modest successes achieved on this lifestyle changing journey be His & His alone! Amen & Amen!

Life is good - it always has been - however, there is a special new sweetness to it since I determined to stop playing around & get serious about following my program.

Like I said - life is good!

P.S. ~

The 'Twin Visitors" photograph was taken in early July. I looked out the window & had the pleasant experience of being eye-to-eye with one of them. Their Mama was right with them in the trees outside the window. They were so adorably cute!

My dearly treasured "Mr.V" quickly got the camera & took a few photographs. I think it is so cute how one seems to be posing for the picture to be snapped, while his twin is eagerly following their Mama!

I am wondering if Little Gal is responding to the medicine for her arthritis. She may be by the doors if it is affecting her stomach, either making her feel like she might vomit or have to do #2. I don't "know" this, but it is just a guess.

Our first rottweiler was given pain meds for arthritis (she had cancer of her leg, but we didn't know that), when she got in the house, she drank some water and acted as though she might be dizzy, though she didn't stagger or anything. Her behavior was just not her usual self. I told the vet when we took her again, that I didn't want her to be like that.

I am guessing that Little Gal just isn't feeling like her usual self and maybe it is scary for her.

Were you able to see the cartoon on my blog? Another Sparker told me the link didn't work so I had to download the cartoon and then upload it to my pictures, then get it to my blog. I just keep trying until I got it, but I still don't have the process worked out to where I can post something like that with ease.

I am glad that Little Gal's eye has healed.

I get so tired of places saying to go paperless and do stuff online, then they don't have the information that they need. When I went to the urologist last Wednesday, she wanted to know what Urgent Care I used. I didn't know what it was called and told her the location, but she said that they couldn't look it up. She said there are three in that area.

I still like paper. At least it is visible. I will be making up a tablet of questions when I visit the Veterans Administration Clinic. There all of my medical doctors will be under one roof. I want to get free of my current primary care doctor. He just wants to tell me how to do things his way and not have any input from me, except that I comply. Sorry, he works for me, not the other way around and I get tired of him showing his temper.

I went to the lab one time with hubby's lab slip, not mine, and he had to run back home and get my slip and take his back. Most doctors want me to bring all of my medications with me. That is half a plastic grocery bag full. I know that they want to check to see if the pills need to be refilled, but I would think there would be a better way than to have a person lug pill bottles around.

There are times when I will make a list of everything I need to take with me. We don't have a place close to the front door to lay anything on, so the list goes on the kitchen table. If there aren't too many things to take, I will put everything on one end of the sofa.

I know a lady that takes her toothbrush and toothpaste with her to brush after meals when she is away from home. It does not make me feel good to see her do it in a public sink. I know we wash our hands in them, but to see someone's gunk go in there as they brush their teeth is not conducive to using that particular sink after they are finished, even if they have rinsed the residue down the drain.

I don't think that I would want to deal with people to clean their teeth. I have had cavities filled and the smell as they are being drilled out, turns my stomach. I don't smoke, but know people that do and Yes, the smell is on their clothing and on their breath.

A good swim always does the body good! Actually, it sounds like a most relaxing way to spend some minutes of every day. You are blessed to have that pool, even with the upkeep expense & work that comes along with it.

    God bless!

I do love to just float in the water. Sleep is wonderful after having been in the pool.
