Life is too short to put it off.

I'm 35 years old. Since I turned 30, I found myself more frequently stopping to realize that the path I was heading down was not very satisfying. So I threw it all up in the air and am starting from scratch to see what really matters to me. My divorce was final in September 2012, and I'd been feeling a little lost, a little out of control, and way off track. I'm learning to use sweating as therapy, albeit too infrequently. How much healthier could my spirit be if sweating was a habit?

I want to be hooked on cardio. I want to be strong. I want to be able to use my body in all of the ways for which it was intended, because the zombies won't wait for me to catch my breath. I want to show my daughter by example that our bodies are made to move. I would love for fitness to show on the outside, but this isn't primarily about weight loss. This isn't a diet for me. There is no finish line.

Next up: several little house projects, followed by a kitchen remodel, maybe adding animals to the farmette this summer.

Howdy! Thanks for coming over and visiting my page and you nice comment on my blog! I think with time I will get my diet fine tuned and won't be fretting over everything so much. I have been eating healthy, homemade foods, getting a balanced diet in, and when I do go out to eat, I always look up the nutritional information ahead of time, so there are no surprises.

I was having an issue getting enough fiber, even with my fruits and veggies, so I bought some All Bran cereal which has 10gm of fiber per serving so that should help.

I am just scratching my head how I can be "in range" with all my nutritional category, but et not be on target with my pie chart.

Bottom line I am eating right everyday and exercising, so I just need to have faith that the process will work!

Looking forward to getting to know you better!

Warmly, Nancy in Kansas
