Improving Me!

Are you spending your time doing what you really want to do? I know that I wasn't -- and a good part of the reason was that I didn't have enough energy. I had been especially disappointed in myself for gaining extra weight over the past few years, so when I woke up one morning in December 2009, I decided that it was high time to quit procrastinating. I needed to make some positive changes in my life. So here I am, trying to improve myself!

I needed to make some positive changes in my life. So here I am, trying to improve myself!

Fast forward to January 1, 2014 ~~ I've made many improvements over the past four years on SparkPeople, but I'm still working to be a better me! This program helps me to focus more on my health, and I have made many great SparkFriends whose strength, motivation, and encouragement have helped me along this life journey.

Thank you, SparkPeople!

Thanks for remembering us today, and for the Spark goodie... being with Erin and the kids has been a real heart balm, and amidst the snow and liveliness I can only count my blessings (and you are one of them!)

Thanks for the Spark Goodie! It's been cold here in NH, too - colder than we've seen in a long time. My dogs' paws are so cold, they keep limping but today we made it around the block (1 mile) in the sunshine! Now I won't feel so guilty when I sit down to work on my quilting project!
Hope you have a great weekend!
Nancy

Hi,

Thanks for visiting my page and for your nice comments. I am doing ok but I seem to get tired a lot. I have to keep having blood drawn at least once a week to check my INR level since I have to take Warfarin (cumidin) right now. I am losing weight very slowly but hanging in there.
We had a hard rain and hailstorm a couple of days ago. I think winter is coming too fast!
I hope you are doing well. Nice to hear from you. emoticon
