My Program:
Walk/Jog 3 days a week.
(SP Rookie Running Plan.)

Strength train 3X a week.

Cardio Kickboxing 2X a week.

Daily walks after dinner with the family and dogs.

Saturday family activities.

My name is Inez and I live in the desert southwest. I am so blessed to be a child of God. He is the ONE who keeps my paths straight and extends me grace.

I enjoy reading, crafting, listening to christian music, modern jazz, and classical music. I also enjoy being active in my church.

Hi there...I just checked in with you to see how you are doing. I'm doing much better. Foot is healed nicely and I bought a second pair of runners today just in case it was my footwear that caused the sprained tendon in the first place. Today my husband and I drove into the city and did shopping from11 am. to 4 pm. and then I had to unpack and put everything away so I am feeling tired and achy now. I'm expecting a fibromyalgia flare-up but it's not as though I am not prepared and I have the tools I need to deal with my discomfort through many years of practice. I have learned to pick what is important or necessary enough and then what I need to do when a flare-up does occur. I bought a trigger point massage therapy workbook that taught me how to massage the trigger point areas affected. Massage and a warm bath will do the job of lessening and visual relaxation before bed will help as well. Come visit me on my spark page and read some of my blogs. I just wrote one about spices yesterday that you might find interesting.

I don't know where else to message you besides here, so I hope you will be able to get my message.

I hope that your weather will start to clear up. I bet you can't wait till spring. I am sorry to hear that you sprained a tendon in your foot. That is painful. I am glad that you still have enough time to recover and train for this 5K.
Keep it slow at first so you don't injure yourself again. I am cheering you on! I know you can do this!
When you finish that 5K, I know you will feel great!
