My Goals:
- Lose 100 lbs in 2014
- Be a size 8 by the end of 2014
- Go from the couch to a half marathon in 2014
- Complete 12 SparkPeople Challenges in 2014

My Program:
Diet and exercise. Going to more or less go with the guidances that SparkPeople are including online.

I will not be giving up real food. Real food, reasonable portions. Nothing is off limits. I'm not out to make a point about going the "whole food" route or "organic" or becoming a locavore, although in a perfect world I would do all these things. Just not while I'm dieting.

Personal Information:
Late 20s female scientist. Training is in Biology and Biochemistry. Working in the Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry. No children, but I have a very loving and supportive boyfriend who is being very patient with my transformation.

In reply to your comment on my blog. My blood sugars are in the normal range with my meds but my goals is to get off the meds.
