Working on curvy, healthy, and happy

At my heaviest I was probably 260 pounds. I didn't have a scale until I weighed in at 245. Rough day. I found Sparkpeople in 2009 and have had a few set backs where I put weight back on. I can happily say I have been under 200 for over two years now and continue to strive towards healthy habits and a healthy weight.

I've learned so much about food and fitness from Sparkpeople. I made my nutrition and fitness tracker public in order to help hold myself accountable but also to help others along their journey. Sometimes we just need someone else's frame of reference.

Started at around 245 pounds and a size 20 jeans
Now as of the start of 2014 I'm at around 195 and a size 10. I spent most of 2014 dealing with one injury or another and didn't manage to take much weight off but did build muscle. Focusing this year less on the number than on how my body feels.

Fitness Minutes: 68,476

My Goals:
Cardio 45 minutes daily. Usually out walking with the dog.

ST 6 days a week. I alternate arms, legs, and core. It works for me.

Eat healthy and clean 90% of the time and still enjoy my relationship with food.

My Program:
I like my routines, but usually eventually mix it up.

I try to do at least 45 min of cardio each day and I am working hard to get in at least 30 min of strength training daily as well.

Circuit training DVD's are my best friends. I own....4? I think they all have some form of Jillian in them.

I make sure I have one day a week off. Honestly it changes every week. If I need a day off I take it.

My goal is to walk or run 30+ miles a week.

Personal Information:
I'm an almost late 20's working professional who somehow seems to keep moving across the country for opportunity. I'm trying to live life to the fullest and make sure I have no regrets.

Other Information:
Would be interested in finding a workout buddy in St. Louis. Preferably a female with around 20+ pounds to lose.

emoticon I hope you are feeling better. I was on predizone for almost 3 years, on and off, for asthma. The scale was never happy,
Wishing you a healthy week, that is all that counts!

February is another one of those months when stores create magical candy-filled displays. Inside those foil-covered heart-shaped boxes festooned with lace, ribbons and fake flowers are chocolates that have been rattling around in their cardboard container since October--and they taste like it.

Treat yourself to something sweet and delicious that tastes like real food--crisp apples, juicy grapes, fresh pineapple, or a perfectly ripened pear. Just say no to cardboard.
