I am a 59 year RN married to best friend these past 40 years. We have 3 fabulous grown children and I want to keep staying healthy to someday see grandchildren. My Goals:
I have pretty much reached my goals of losing weight (90 pounds) and getting off my DM meds so now I have to keep working hard to stay that way. Feeling as good as I do, I now wonder why I didn't do this years ago. But then I wouldn't have met all the wonderful people here on SP.
My Program:
I try to be consistent with my diet and exercise to maintain my weight and keep my BSs under a tight control.
Personal Information:
I live outside Philadelphia PA near the Delaware state line (tax free shopping!) I work as a legal nurse consultant and in my spare time I like to read, crochet, walk and love spending time with my husband, children and friends. I have three grown children, Ashley 28 married and a dentist, Hayley 24 in grad school for an MFA and Alex 21 who lives with hubby and me and works is an autobody repairer. We have two rescue dogs, Indy and Menlo.
Other Information:
My favorite poem is "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. My philosophy of life is the Golden Rule (Treat others as you would wish to be treated) and I try everyday to live by it. I love life and am very happy!!
