I Reach My Dreams

5/27/15 I can't believe I have been on this journey since March of 2012. I thought I would have reached my goal weight by now, but have realized that I needed to make a little more realistic goal. As you journey, it becomes more clear that it is better to let the weight come off with time, making little, but consistent changes each day. 3/24/14 Two years later and I'm still going strong. Weight loss is a journey and not one that happens overnight. I am learning to enjoy the journey to becoming physically and emotionally fit. The best lesson I have learned on this journey is to never give up!

7/17/13 How much can change in a year?! I started my weight loss journey in March of 2012 at 70 pounds overweight and a single woman. I have lost close to 50 pounds and am now married.

Now that our honeymoon is over, I am back on my plan and am looking forward to reaching my goal.

3/5/13 I have lost 47 pounds to date and hope to reach 50 by my 1 year anniversary since starting my weight loss journey.

3/5/12 I am a 38 year old single woman who loves people and enjoys life. I want to enjoy more of life so I am looking forward to losing 70 pounds this year!

My Goals:
My goal for the rest of 2015 is to make healthy choices in my eating and to stay active. In doing these things I would like to lose 20 pounds. After maintaining that, then I will see if I need to lose another 20. It may take me another 3 years, but I'm OK with that as long I as I continue to make healthy choices.

My goal is to lose at least 70 pounds this year. My other goal is to walk/exercise 4 times a week.

My Program:
I am enjoying the nutrition tracker and the fitness tracker provided by SparkPeople.com.

Personal Information:
I see that I have been a member of SparkPeople.com since 6/8/11, but realized that I didn't start using the program until March 2012. I'm so glad I started!

Other Information:
I sit on the City Council, enjoy taking dance lessons with my husband, traveling, reading and reaching my goals and dreams.
