IT'S ALL ABOUT ME RIGHT NOW
I started this journey weighing in at 229 pounds on September 1st, 2008.
It all began one morning when I took my son to visit the doctor, I had never owned a home scale before, so I asked the doctor if could weigh myself. And he invited me to. I locked in at 229 pounds and I was horrified. I said to my self that day "this is it, no more'. I signed up for the gym, found all the information I could online about becoming healthy, eating healthy and losing weight. Ever since I log on to Spark People several times a day. And so far I am doing great. So many people are so shocked at my progress. I tell everyone about SparkPeople.
I am so looking forward to reaching my goal weight. It will be awesome. Remember all, the sky is the limit. You want it, just make it happen. I AM MY NUMBER 1 FAN!
Oh, and I got myself a scale and a measuring tape on September 17th 2008. Now, I know where I stand always.

...July 16th, 2009. Only 5 more pounds to get rid of to reach my goal weight of 145. And I know I will. Now I feel so much more confident in myself and my abilities, I am setting new personal, acedemic and professional goals and also brand new standards for me. If I could transform my spirit and body the way I have, I can do all else through christ who strenghtens me.
By November, 2009 I went all the way down to 140/1 pounds. So now I am floating between 145 and 140.
My new goal for my physical appearance is to build muscle in my arms, legs and stomach (that's all over LOL). I may gain doing this, muscle weight. I will have to depend on the measuring tape once I start this. I will post when I get started.
On Dec 31st weigh 175 pounds. - surpassed weighed in at 170
On March 30 Weigh 155 - done on April 15.
On June 30 Weigh 145 - actual weight on June 30 2009 150. Still 5 more pounds to go.
New goal date for 145lbs, August 30 -
From Sept 1 to forever floating weight between 145 and 140
I placed 3rd in ladies, first 5k ever, 26 mins on Sat, Feb 27, 2010
Exercising days a week - Cardio, Weight training, walking and jogging.
Drink glasses of water daily
Aim at eating 2000, daily.
Stomp the yard
Pursuit to Happiness
