The best is yet to come!

Hi. Thanks for checking out my Spark Page. I'm Eileen and people call me Ei. I live in Ohio!

Isn't SparkPeople.com wonderful? I really love it and it sure is helping me in my journey. This website was recommended to me when I asked my doctor how I could lose weight. Wow! I am so glad I asked her that question!

I went to Weight Watchers for several years off and on and did lose, but then put it back on when I stopped going.
In September 2010 when I discovered Spark People and read the book, it really got me motivated to make a decision. I decided I wanted a healhier lifestyle and knew I needed to make a change. I was doing the WW Points plan-- on my own with the help of Spark People.

Spark got me going and then the new WW Points plus plan came out and I decided to change from WW points- on my own to the new plan.
In December of 2010 , I re-joined for the new WW Points Plus Program for three months. It was a early Christmas gift to myself, since I know ----I am worth it!!
Now, since early March 2011, I am doing the program on my own. I have a long way to go, but know this program will keep me on top of things.
I have a few health problems that sometimes interfere
with my exercising plans, but am striving to improve on this. I am hoping my health will actually be much better by my activity and healthier lifestyle.
One day at at time I will get there. It may take me longer than I planned, but I will not give up. My journey is moving in the right direction and I am on this with all of you. Let's help each other get there. Thanks for being here Spark People!

Hi, my friend! I am doing WWs Online, together with Instagram. I discovered a WWs community there where we can share photos of our meals, exercise, etc. After 3 years of struggling to get back on track, this is really helping me stay motivated. Do you use phone apps? I ask because there is an app (for $3.99) where you can count points. Here is the website if you would like to check it out.

I've used it before rejoining WWs, and I plan to use it again in the future.
I wish you and your DD much success! emoticon emoticon

Hi Eileen,

I saw a program on PBS about a Doctor from the Cleveland Clinic named Dr. Roizen. He says that 80% of cancers and health issues would disappear if people would learn how to cope with stress, eat mostly green vegetables and walk 10,000 steps a day. It actually is pretty easy. I just walk for 20 minutes at a time 5 times a day.

So I have been doing that for two weeks now. So I am going to walk tomorrow to MQOP Church.
