The best is yet to come!

Hi. Thanks for checking out my Spark Page. I'm Eileen and people call me Ei. I live in Ohio!

Isn't SparkPeople.com wonderful? I really love it and it sure is helping me in my journey. This website was recommended to me when I asked my doctor how I could lose weight. Wow! I am so glad I asked her that question!

I went to Weight Watchers for several years off and on and did lose, but then put it back on when I stopped going.
In September 2010 when I discovered Spark People and read the book, it really got me motivated to make a decision. I decided I wanted a healhier lifestyle and knew I needed to make a change. I was doing the WW Points plan-- on my own with the help of Spark People.

Spark got me going and then the new WW Points plus plan came out and I decided to change from WW points- on my own to the new plan.
In December of 2010 , I re-joined for the new WW Points Plus Program for three months. It was a early Christmas gift to myself, since I know ----I am worth it!!
Now, since early March 2011, I am doing the program on my own. I have a long way to go, but know this program will keep me on top of things.
I have a few health problems that sometimes interfere
with my exercising plans, but am striving to improve on this. I am hoping my health will actually be much better by my activity and healthier lifestyle.
One day at at time I will get there. It may take me longer than I planned, but I will not give up. My journey is moving in the right direction and I am on this with all of you. Let's help each other get there. Thanks for being here Spark People!

Ei, I'm doing grilled chicken tenders and putting that on spinach salads which will have a light vinegar and oil homemade raspberry dressing, it does not take much to dress the salad. My friend is bringing fresh fruit for dessert.

Thank you for taking the time to stop at my page with warm wishes for the New Year and 2015. I'm wishing you the very best of everything for you too, in 2015. I'm doing pretty good with the new knee and I truly feel that my Ortho. and P/T will be very pleased with my next appt. on Jan. 15, one month after the surgery. I'm starting to walk completely without a cane even. Am starting to take the stairs normally. Slowly and then back to the old way, but I'm getting there. I know that the exercises must be really helping. Wow, for the "ouchy" stretches, but I know that it has to be done and I can feel the next day even, how much better I am because of doing them. My knee is unbelievable! I have full strength with it. I can stand like a flamingo on it and I'm as solid and stable more than my good left knee, so that's wonderful. New miracles every day! I'm looking forward to really walking again and the only difference this time, is that I love to exercise. Ya, I do! emoticon So that's a good feelingl
Hugs, Karen
