I took a 5% Challenge this Spring 2014, and am I ever glad I did.
I lost 10% who wouldn't be happy with that?
I began Tracking my Nutrition, even before I knew how to use the tracker, same for my Fitness.
I began to WANT to track my calories, to see if I actually could eat 1200 to 1500 Calories, in order to lose a pound or two a week.
Who knew it was possible to be full, and happy with what I ate to stay within that range.
Plus I was seldom hungry. Except for the ...

Who knew it was possible to be full, and happy with what I ate to stay within that range.
Plus I was seldom hungry. Except for the joy of being hungry and planning my next meal. Not top loading calories, on a full stomach. Who knew I could change old habits. Or stop mindless grazing?
It can happen for you too.
Join me, as I Journey to SlimLand. It is possible, even for you. If I can do this, and I never thougth I could... then YOU CAN TOO!

2 pounds down is great. I like your focus on creating a healthy lifestyle. That has kept me stable as well.

Have a great day.

Iodine is also not in Kosher Salt which both my sisters started using. Actually, that is what brought up the Iodized Salt; I remembered my mother saying to always buy Iodized but had no idea why - I just did it.

When the question came up about why iodized, I googled it and learned that the reason all processed foods used to have trace iodine is due to the fact that the machinery used to be sterilized with iodine and trace amounts stayed after the rinsing and got into the foods.

Factories no longer sterilize with iodine! So we are becoming Iodine Deficient! Add to this how many of us no longer use our salt shakers - and wow!

All this has led to an increase in Thyroid problems - Thyroid Cancer has now become common! That's terrible!! Even more terrible if a trace amount of iodine would help!

I'm sorry you have a Thyroid problem but I'm really glad you are taking care of it!

huggers,
linda
p.s. I keep trying to lose one more pound - I will eventually, lol.

I am so glad I could motivate you with the chaos of one of my days!

I can't imagine having such a long journey! Hope you had lots of fun though while out on your vacation! It's raining here so I doubt I will get to much outside today, but I got lots done yesterday!

Today's plan is some body weight work. I was going to do wii zumba tonight, but forgot that I'm booked up all night so that will have to wait till tomorrow when I have free time.

I also, love SP for its moments shared and experiences that light that spark inside. That's why I keep coming back!

We got this!
