My Goals:
Minigoal #1: Faithfully track my food and make it a habit by sticking to it for at least six weeks - target date: March 6
Reward: Spring Fling shopping spree
Three weeks complete 2/13!

Minigoal #2: Exercise minimum of 20 minutes for a minimum of five times a week, for five weeks. Target date: March 20 - Reward - Massage appointment.
One week complete 2/6!
Have to start over :( 2/13


My Program:
I am exercising both on the treadmill and working towards doing 10,000 steps a day, and keeping a food journal on SparkPeople. I'm trying to alternate low, medium, and higher cals and carbs days so my body doesn't plateau.

Personal Information:
I'm a teacher, mom of three plus another two by marriage, grandma of one, happily married. I've lost and gained the same 25 pounds at least six times. I'm ready to be done with that and track every day! Spark works for me because I like technology, love writing, and like to network with people.

Other Information:
I love dogs, books, writing, and taking walks (on a beach whenever possible).

I had the same on my way home from work Friday night. I was soooo hungry cuz it got too busy for me to eat my afternoon snack I had brought. It took all my will power to walk by both a McDonald's and aBurger King and not go in...but I did it. Probably looked like a mad woman because I was talking myself out of it as I walked to the subway...but I did it. Isn't that moment of supreme will power so gratifying?
