I BELIEVE IN ME! With prayer, GOD's help & my willingness, I BELIEVE I can reach my GOALS.
“Time is the coin of your life…It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.”…Carl Sandburg Choosing one’s priorities should be the first thing that one does in order to have a healthy and satisfying life. “Time is the coin of your life…It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.”…Carl Sandburg Choosing one’s priorities should be the first thing that one does in order to have a healthy and satisfying life. In today’s world with all the electronics and social websites around, while they do allow us to stay in touch with people, can also be a hindrance in what our priorities are. I am sure I am not alone in having many things going on at once. The things on my “TO DO” list, as well as my “WANT TO DO” and “NEED TO DO” lists, seem to get so full at times that I don’t know which to start on first. At the top of anyone’s PRIORITY list should be the world “ME”. After all, if we don’t take care of ourselves, how do we expect to take care of others? For me, at the beginning of each day I will start out with ME, giving thanks to GOD that I have another day, and another chance, to make ME the best that I can be. Prayer is as vital to my soul, as food & exercise is to my body. Prayer helps me become closer to GOD and in doing so GOD becomes closer to me. When I am feeling frustrated and scattered, I simply put a prayer in my GOD BOX and wait. Most times, within minutes, often without even realizing it, HE has answered my prayer. Whether it is to help me stay motivated with my fitness and nutrition, or a personal, family or work problem, if I just stay still and focus my attention on HIM I receive the answer. It does not come in a sentence, there is nothing particular I hear, but often times it is something that I think. It comes to me as others refer to as an “Ahha moment”, where the light bulb suddenly goes off and before I know it, I am on my way. There are times that I do not even realize HE has answered my Prayer because I just start getting things done that I have wanted to do. It might be later that day, the next day or a week, before I realize he answered my prayer. Because of HIM, I am able to accomplish all that I have done, that which I am currently doing, and all that I will be doing in the future. My “WANT TO DO” and “NEED TO DO” lists will change often but I know that if I am having trouble getting started or checking things off my list, that HE is just a whisper away from being by my side to guide me.
