I am a busy doctoral student, full time adminstrator at a college, and artist. I have discovered that as I devote more time to my studies and career, the more sedentary I have become. I do not want to sacrifice one for the other and I am ready to find balance in my life.

Using Spark Coach and tracking all calories (1,100-1,300 daily) and at least 10 min of exercise a day.
I run 3 times a week and bike once.
I do at least 3 days to strength training.
I eat whole foods, no/low sugar, and coffee.
I am Associate DIrector of Student Services and doctoral student. I recently relocated back to Southern California where 72 and sunny is the forecast most days!

A Garmin 310?!?!? I am jealous. Is that the Forerunner? It's a multisport watch right? (Or is there another one?) I want one! (I have a TomTom ... I wish I had held out for a Garmin.)
Running is going okay for me. I'm still a slower runner and have not really added too much distance. But I have added swimming and biking to the repertoire!

Hey you! How exciting - all of it! I'm so happy for you. Your second full, huh? I'm not sure I have another one in me. I'm not saying never, but I still LOVE the half distance. Taking it kind of easy on races this year (although I am running one tomorrow). Trying to get as strong and healthy as possible for my goal of 20 HMs in 2016. Good to hear from you and thank you for the kind words. I have enjoyed watching you grow in your running and everything else (except size - lol).
