Jack's Lifestyle Plan

I'm retired and it seems I fall into a routine each day. I spend a great deal of time in front of the PC writing blogs and articles for our websites. I try to get in my exercise using the SparkPeople exercises. I want to above all eat healthy so I can look to a fun and have healthy retirement.

My Goals:
I have not reached my weight goal yet. But I will never give up. Goals unreached tend to discourage me, but not defeat me.

My Program:
I'm a program jumper. I go from diet to diet trying to find one that fits my lifestyle the best. Most of them have much higher calories than I need.

Personal Information:
I'm from Georgia and thankfully have a supportive wife who eats what I need to and exercises with me.

Other Information:
Like to hike, write, play golf, do PC stuff. I'm active in my Church. We have a timeshare so like to travel. We have a website and my health blogs are on http://www.jubileeonlinechurch.org

Some people are easier to entertain than others. What did I do years ago before I had emails/Internet? Probably the only reason I had kids! lol

Thank you for your kind comment on my "The Good News and The Bad News" blog. We're still doing yoga (harder than I thought!) and still keeping our fingers crossed. After such a stressful last week I'm just now starting to Spark again and trying to get a little caught up. Hope you're having a nice weekend. emoticon

You did good on your last vacation with only a gain of 1.8 pounds. For me, it seems that anytime eating involves a restaurant, regardless of how good I try to choose, and regardless of how many calories they say are in each of the choices I make -- the scale always wants to go UP!

As it's summer time now and we will usually be up in the mountains, there are no restaurants around to tempt us, so I will probably do a good job of maintaining -- maybe even lose a bit more!
