I am uncomfortable in my own body. I have always been a "little heavy" my whole life and a few years back I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. So that helped explain why even though I was a active kid and ate roughly normal childhood food, my body just wasn't burning the calories the same as my constantly slim best friend.

This is my first time on SP and I hope will be the last. I feel I can get the support and motivation I need here as well as the resources and knowledge to succeed. My issue with weight loss has always been that I get uber excited and dive in head first for the first month or so then my interest begins to wane and I slowly end up back to my old bad habits. It needs to stop and I need to make it work this time.

To change my eating habits

Make a habit of logging in my food

Lose 20 pounds by Sept 2013

Run a 5k in August of 2013

My Program:
Diet that concentrates on the healthy ratios of fat-carb-proteins.

Increase the amount of vegetables and fruits I eat on a daily basis

Increase my water consumption

Take my thyroid pill on a daily basis

Find a way to exercise at least 30 minutes a day

Make this a lifestyle change!
