Thanks for your concern about my pain. I have had 3 major surgeries in a two year time period, and I have not found my level of activity as of yet. In Oct 2011, I had a 4 level fusion in my lumbar region, 5 herniated discs. Then in Aug of 2013, I had my left knee totally replaced. In Oct, then I had my right knee totally replaced.

I feel fine when I am doing things, on Sunday last, that was going up and down the upstairs in my house once, and about 8 or so trips to the basement to do laundry. I felt fine.

On Monday, my cousin came over and helped me clean my house, she generally cleans it once a month, but I was having company from out of town, so I cleaned too.

I went to the chiropractor on Monday afternoon, and thought I would be ok. Not so much, so went back to the chiropractor on Friday. Had two parties yesterday, and it was just too much time being on my feet, and sitting on chairs for parties, not for comfort. I know I did too much yesterday as I was gone from home from 10:30am to 9:30pm.

Because of having so much pain prior to my back surgery, and then again prior to the knee surgeries, I do not have the stamina I should have.

I am having to find my boundaries, and figuring out how much I can push them to get stronger and better.

I do take arthritis drugs, and they do help, but I have work to do still, and they tell me that the knees will not be totally healed fro at least a year, maybe longer.

Because of my weight, I had a much more invasive knee surgery.

It is all good, I am better than I was last year at this time, I just would not have been able to do what I have done this week at all, so having some pain, is ok with me, I really am getting better.

I reallp appreciates your thoughts and caring though.

Thank you :) I really do enjoy my time with her... watching her experience HER parents health decline, especially in the past five to seven years, it's been something I think about. You never can take time with family members for granted.
