A renewed beginning, still.

I continue on a long, long plateau and I think I believe my skin has caught up to the loss of fat.:) I have lost inches & people are commenting on that but I would like to see that scale take another little drop. I am not looking for the ideal weight but I am looking for a weight that I can be comfortable with. My goal did have a long term date involved but I will re-set as the time comes near. I am not looking for the ideal weight but I am looking for a weight that I can be comfortable with. My goal did have a long term date involved but I will re-set as the time comes near. So let's just say I am a work in progress and I am enjoying life to the fullest right now. I have had several set backs with my health & disabilities but I am working on doing a little pushing! Pools & water are my love but I have to wait to go south. Then I am setting a goal of water exercises at least 5 days a week and a little cycling in the exercise room 2-4 days a week. This is my winter time goals!! I CAN do it!!

My current losses:
1. 4/1/10 my 1st long term goal has been made of a 50# loss before my goal date of 10/19/10!!!
2. On 7/29/10 I reached my ultimate goal of 67#. (Actually 68#).
3. I am starting on my 2nd long term of another 50#, adding it too my weight tickertape and am setting 7/29/11 as the date again. (This is subject to change!!)

I am so thrilled to have gotten this far and hope that I can con't. to stay on a healthy path of life.

Hi, Eileen!

We haven't talked in a while so thought I would send an update! The house is basically finished and we are ready to move in, but need to clean the floors thoroughly first and finish some trim painting. We also need to go and buy more living room furniture as we don't have any at all.

We had a yard sale with the neighbors yesterday and Friday and sold a few things, but not much. We are taking what is left (a lot of the horse stuff) to Stephenville to sell at the Chicken house flea market. They have that every two weeks so probably won't do it till after the first of the year and when we are finished cleaning the house so we can move in.

One thing about this flooring I don't like, is that it scratches really easily! Where we slide furniture across it or even move the ladder, it leaves scratches. They aren't visible as long as the floor is absolutely clean (most of them) but that will drive me crazy! The only thing that will save me is that I plan on having a lot of rugs down to hide the floor and the scratches.

The only thing major left to do in the house is install the wood stove, and Matt can't do that alone, the stove has to be set on a pedastal and it is too heavy for he and I to lift, so have to wait till Matt's son and his stepson can come out and help. The house stays plenty warm so far with the electric unit but we haven't been super cold yet. We are still in the RV though will clean out the storage building this coming week and lots more things will go as we won't have room.

We are having a custom made TV cabinet done by our cabinet maker so that all the woodwork matches, but he is so busy he can't start it till the beginning of next year. We had the guy out who dug the washing machine pit, and he dug another one, right alongside the first, so Matt will have to fill that with rock and cover it all back up.

Once all this is done, Matt will have to build some kind of roof under which to store all the implements and also a cover for the RV. We are hiring the rest of the fence done as we just have too much to do.

How is it going down there in the valley? I hope you do a blog on your house down there, soon! Would love to see pictures!

Have a great Christmas, are any of the kids coming down? emoticon

emoticon I know now when I set my mind to something I can do it!! 3 weeks without sweet treats was not too bad. Now I have eaten them again off and on and I think I liked it better without. My body doesn't like sugar too well. We don't need it anyway! It all leads straight for the fat storage in our bodies! Dark chocolate is good for you...as long as it is 60% cocoa or better.
Have a great week ahead! Keep going!!! Keep moving -that always helps our fibromyalgia!!! emoticon emoticon

Santa Claus has the right idea - visit people only once a year.

On St. Patricks Day I to pretend to be Irish. At Christmas I pretend to be good.

Mail your packages early so the post office can lose them in time for Christmas.
- Johnny Carson

I donít mind fruitcakes. Theyíre the one thing during the holidays Iím not tempted to eat.
- Melanie White

There are three stages of man: he believes in Santa Claus; he does not believe in Santa Claus; he is Santa Claus.

A Christmas miracle is when your family doesnít get into a single argument all day.
