Oh, wow! You are really having the heat for a northern state! It is so cool here tonight that I am wearing my sweatshirt! I would guess its in the low 60's...... I guess your house there has AC? No doubt you will have it on! Being as far north as we've been, we've escaped the heat that has hit across much of the country. I guess we picked the right year for Maine!
I see what you mean about the time to head south! It would be good if you could see some of the states that you haven't seen yet. We have a lot of them, mostly in the west. I wanted to head west this year but got out voted! Oh, well, maybe at a later date! 4 days ago
That is great, Eileen, that you are allowing those people who were driven out of the park's trailer by mice to rent yours! Also nice that it won't be on the road, but sitting right there where you can see it every day. I would say it is a good use of your idle RV! Doing those people a favor! They must be really looking forward to their summer now!
When do you plan on coming south again? I would guess its a way off yet. We are now staying put here in upstate New York until the 29th, as we need the oil changed on the truck but the shop can't get it in until a week from Thursday. That is OK, as it is still really HOT at home....... 4 days ago
“Perhaps the greatest charity comes when we are kind to each other, when we don't judge or categorize someone else, when we simply give each other the benefit of the doubt or remain quiet. Charity is accepting someone's differences, weaknesses, and shortcomings; having patience with someone who has let us down; or resisting the impulse to become offended when someone doesn't handle something the way we might have hoped. Charity is refusing to take advantage of another's weakness and being willing to forgive someone who has hurt us. Charity is expecting the best of each other." ~ Elder Martin J. Ashton ~
