A renewed beginning, still.

I continue on a long, long plateau and I think I believe my skin has caught up to the loss of fat.:) I have lost inches & people are commenting on that but I would like to see that scale take another little drop. I am not looking for the ideal weight but I am looking for a weight that I can be comfortable with. My goal did have a long term date involved but I will re-set as the time comes near. So let's just say I am a work in progress and I am enjoying life to the fullest right now. I have ...
I continue on a long, long plateau and I think I believe my skin has caught up to the loss of fat.:) I have lost inches & people are commenting on that but I would like to see that scale take another little drop. I am not looking for the ideal weight but I am looking for a weight that I can be comfortable with. My goal did have a long term date involved but I will re-set as the time comes near. So let's just say I am a work in progress and I am enjoying life to the fullest right now. I have had several set backs with my health & disabilities but I am working on doing a little pushing! Pools & water are my love but I have to wait to go south. Then I am setting a goal of water exercises at least 5 days a week and a little cycling in the exercise room 2-4 days a week. This is my winter time goals!! I CAN do it!!

My current losses:
1. 4/1/10 my 1st long term goal has been made of a 50# loss before my goal date of 10/19/10!!!
2. On 7/29/10 I reached my ultimate goal of 67#. (Actually 68#).
3. I am starting on my 2nd long term of another 50#, adding it too my weight tickertape and am setting 7/29/11 as the date again. (This is subject to change!!)

I am so thrilled to have gotten this far and hope that I can con't. to stay on a healthy path of life.

My Goals:
1. Lose 50# (done 4/1/10
2. Lose 17# (done 7/29/10
3. Lose 50# (in progress) Kind of on a long, long plateau. Hoping to break it soon!

With Fibro, I am not as active as I need to be and plan to gain some mileage as I continue the weight loss.

My Program:
My updated goals for the 2nd round of wt. loss.

1. Calorie tracking
2. Increase in walking
3. Continue to break bad habits and learning new healthy ways of living.
4. Enjoy the small gains of energy being felt.

Personal Information:
I am Eileen from MN. I enjoy chatting but not usually on line until evening.
I am a retired registered nurse and have 3 kids and 3 g/daughters. My husband (of 40+yrs.) and I love the kids, spouses and g/kids dearly.

Other Information:
I do counted cross stitch, crocheting and reading as crafts. We are avid campers and plan to have many road trips as well as winter in the south. Can't say that I stay off the computer but try to limit my time on slow moving days.

Thanks, Eileen. If only I could get Richard to do stretches/gentle exercise, but no...he thinks he knows better, so I guess we just have to wait for it to resolve itself. Grrr!!! Hope things are doing better for your mom each day. Hugs, Jeannie

Eileen - we would so love to see you join us in Oct for our get together! Yes, there are cabins but you would have to check with Jude for more information. If you could fly in, I'm sure Norm and I could pick you up at the airport. It's going to be a fun time so keep thinking about it.

Focus on one goal at a time to become a healthier you. Develop an action plan for each goal and finish what you start. Each positive change will lead you to better results.
