I continue on a long, long plateau which I jut broke through in March. I am not looking for the ideal weight but I am looking for a weight that I can be comfortable with. My goal did have a long term date involved but I will re-set as the time comes near. So let's just say I am a work in progress and I am enjoying life to the fullest right now. I have had several set backs with family losses, my health & disabilities but I am working on doing a little pushing! Pools & water are my love but got little time there this winter. Even though I didn't do as I wished, I made a very important goal to me and now have my sight set on a smaller and doable goal of 16#. I have spent 1.5 yrs in TX. & planning to return to MN. in the next 2-3 weeks pending my mom's health after her fall last March, breaking an arm and leg. I now need to take care of me and lower my stress sources.

After a very long plateau, I have made my 1st long term goal of 100# lost on 3/20/16. 1# added to the loss this week. The plateau is broken and now onto a small goal of 17# (no date to meet).

I am so thrilled to have gotten this far and hope that I can con't. to stay on a healthy path of life.

JAMER, Thanks for the comments I like to read them. Thank you. Right now DH and I are doing the yard and now a contractor who we were hoping to do the kitchen weeks ago. He just decided to do it now so I was having fun with DH and now it is back to reality. I would love to get in the little RV but alas, I have to stay home.
DH is not a camper but he goes just for me. I always used campers tagging along but now he is not as happy as he has eye issues. I am driving now and we only drive it in Maine.
I left it too long. Always had the Grand kids with us and had fun but DH has travelled a lot and now he just loves to stay put,
Thanks for your comments I always read them and each day I catch up with a few others. I am such a slow typist and my computer is having problems. Every time it gets bad it says Sparks has an error and I sometimes it shows up then it is gone. Now it has an issue with
Internet explorer and since I have a long streak I will keep on logging in.
Thanks for the great support. Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon

There is no growth without change.
You’ve got to let go of some old stuff.
And that can hurt. Often when I’m in the most pain,
I realize it’s coming from my trying to control everything.
Or resisting the changes that come with the progress.
But you see that light… that beautiful next level…
and that’s what you have to focus on..

Believe it or not, Iowa has had a state law requiring schools to start after Labor Day for a long time, but schools could get permission to start earlier. Most did and some were starting by mid-August or so. I think it was 2 years ago the governor decided that we shouldn't let schools start until the State Fair was over...so now the Fair really controls when schools start. LOL!! Silliness!!
