January 2015. A little over maintenance range, but working on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

January 2014. Just around when I was hitting my goal of 140 lbs.

Before picture. Right around my highest weight - 250-260 lbs, I believe.

I have 6 pics in my gallery

Fitness Goals
-Sub-25 minute 5k
-Sub-2:30 HM
-ST two times per week
-Try new things

My Program:
Run 3 times per week, ST two times per week and HIIT and walks thrown in to round it out.

I cook and plan all of my meals during the weekends, so not wanting to cook/laziness is never a factor in making a bad choice. Also, I make foods that I like to eat (I'm a bit of a foodie) which makes it easier to chose what I have at home over a greasy drive-thru disaster.

Personal Information:
I'm a native Floridian and reside in central Florida though I did a three winter stint in Chicago. Miami grad - go 'Canes, - knitter, football and hockey fan, cook/baker.

I do havesome carboading tips. 2 daysbefore event is betterthanthe daybefore. You should carbload: 80% carb 10% fat and protein 3 full days before, more volume on day 2, lighten up on day 3, the day before event. That's what I hear as the best carb loading plan. Good luck. Please excuse typos. I'm on mytablet and my fat fingers don't cooperate.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I love being an attorney, but it's just a job. Everyone I work with knows that if I win a huge lottery prize, I will give my notice and quit. I work to live, not live to work. I'd much rather spend my time playing in the wilderness and riding my bike. There are a lot of things I would find more fulfulling than working, like volunteering and taking college classes.

I do dig the paycheck, though!

Thanks for taking the time to read & comment on my latest blog. I really enjoyed the race. I believe I'll do the Half next year. You have great races in your area too! I have a great friend who is the CEO for Best Damn Race. I've done it every year since he started the series here in Safety Harbor. If you haven't, you should look into it in Orlando! All the best. Stay Strong!

bwahaha! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who occasionally wants to stab people. Makes me feel a little less alone! emoticon
