What a gifted life I lead, blessings and good fortune and opportunity - all conspiring to make me happy. I recently read this: "Any God small enough for us to understand isn't big enough to do us any good. " Neat concept, huh?

Life does gets complicated all of a sudden, but then it calms down in the ebb and flow of growth. Then it cycles all over again, rinse and repeat forever and ever.

My Goals:
I would like to lose 5 pounds a month for a good long while and drop from my current 240 to about 170. No rush so do not expect to see my ticker racing. A slow descent is fine with me.

My Program:
Planet Fitness 4 x week.
(Leslie Sansone walking DVD's as an alternate.)
Calories under 1300/day.
Track my food.
Listen to the Music of the Spheres.

Personal Information:
Whirling through life but often quite down to earth. Love my two cats, sci-fi movies, any and all music (playing at all times), my e-devices, art, clothes, shoes and anything else that falls within my sight. The ultimate know-it-all Aquarius who is into everything.

Other Information:
"With reference to those few parts of the universe to which I have been exposed, I have absolutely nothing profound to say about anything at all. Not one pompous, overwrought gem of wisdom. Not even a syllable of insight. " (Me)

Spring has sprung, the grass has riz! I wonder where the flowers is? (And now I'm thinking of my mom, who loved that and recited it every year.)
Thanks for your note - made my day ~:-). I shall attempt to be fabulous.
Do you know, I've never watched Game of Thrones. My addicted-to tv shows were Breaking Bad, of course, Nurse Jackie and Newsroom. And where are they now? I liked Downton Abbey too, but it got so silly.
Pam, you were the one who told me about zinnias, which I planted last year - really pretty. Will they come back? Or are they those annual things?
Have a splendid Wednesday!
Maggie

I totally agree--some warm sunshine would go a long way to making everyone feel better! At least we'd all stop complaining about the weather! emoticon

I definitely think most of us have taken doctors off the pedestal. I don't think I'm as critical as you seem to be but I don't think there are many (if any) kind hearted family doctors out there.
You are right. As they are sending me for over 20 blood tests, the chest pain has subsided (I'm sure it was pulled muscles) and that was the only "symptom" I ever had.
We belong to Kaiser and have for twenty some years. Overall, I like them. I have one doctor, can change if I want. Specialists and labs and pharmacies are all included in the plan. I pay monthly premium and have $15 co-pay for each doctor visit. I am not charged for labs, mammograms or any tests ordered by the doctor. My husband and I both think we get excellent care. When hubby had cancerous lesion of face, a plastic surgeon was called in for surgery. Hubby barely has a scar!
How did your your doctor visit go? Test results?

Thanks for your support on my blog. Last 3 tests came back normal. That means ALL test results are normal but one and it was mildly positive. I am eager to see the rheumatologist tomorrow!!
