THere is such a disconnect between brain and stomach! I had made significant changes in my diet, including removing most processed foods and eating more protein and fat, but am back to nibbling on cereal, crackers, breads and sometimes even cookies.

The last two days I have not eaten that well, but I am back to weighing daily and charting and trying to plan, and that should help.

HANG IN THERE!

DO NOT GIVE UP. KEEP FIGHTING.

The two principles of maintenance are:

1) Frequent monitoring
2) Immediate correction

If you're off track, push yourself back on. Take extra time and effort to do it. The SOONER you get yourself back into a routine, the less damage control you will have to administer.

You can do this, if you really want it.

...and now you're required to remember to tell ME these things when I need to hear them in the future, and I'm sure I will! LOL

LOL. Yes, I HAVE considered changing fields. When I'm annoyed at work I sometomes fantacize about running away to Rhode Island to join the NWCR researchers...

(Other kids want to join the circus. Or the Foreign Legion. Me? I have all kinds of questions about weight management... hehehe)

Initially I answered your question in this reply, but I'm deleting it to add it to the Questions blog. I wasn't thinking! ;-)
