Striving for Health

I lost 50 lbs. with Weight Watchers. Got off Cholesterol and blood pressure meds. Then got Rheumatoid Arthritis, had 2 should repair surgeries when my bones cut through my rotator cuffs, and my weight loss came to a stand still, but for 7 years have kept that weight off. Now I'm using Spark People and getting results again. Still struggling with pain, medications, etc., but grateful and determined.

Thank you Janis, for the goodie and your best wishes coming my way. I really appreciate it and I sure am looking forward to this knee surgery getting on with! It's surely coming up now with being just this coming Monday, on the 15th. I'll try to remember to take that pain med. 30 min. before my therapy and I know that the ice will become a fast friend! it sure helps to get tips from ones like you, that have been through it! emoticon emoticon

Thank you my dear, for your supportive encouragement on my latest blog. It seems with this gain, that I'm so good at maintaining and that's scary because it's so easy to gain!! I don't want to gain anymore so I can just maintain that too! So I know that I have to turn this around and I know that I will with an ounce at a time. emoticon It's just a matter of knowing what NOT to do and I'm trying to figure that out. Those PB Cups are definitely on the NOT list! Hugs to you girl, and have an awesome weekend!
