Update Fall 2014 - My 4th 5% Challenge! I am excited! I haven't lost any more weight since Spring, but I have maintained my weight within 2-3 pounds, so that is an accomplishment! I do want to lose another 5 pounds or so during the next few months (By Christmas). My goal for the Fall 5% challenge is to get to 112 pounds. I also want to build more lean muscle so I can burn more calories. My nutrition plan is going well and my fitness plan is good, I just need to put in more minutes!!

Update June 2014-
I am starting my 3rd 5% weight loss challenge. During the Spring Challenge, I lost all the weight I planned to lose! Unfortunately, I only stayed at that weight for one week (hubby�s vacation started the day the challenge ended). UGH!! But at least I know I can get there! And I WILL get there again (and try hard to stay there) during the Summer Challenge! One book that I think helped in my loss was �Beck Diet Solution�. I stopped half way thru the book so I can finish it (and be inspired) for the Summer Challenge. I also have some non-weight loss goals that I will work on this Summer (financial, household, home school).


Update April 2014 - I did my first 5% Challenge this Winter. I got to within 1 pound of my original goal & 3 pounds of my "official" goal! Now I am back, helping lead the GREAT team of Clover Leafs! I also read the book "Made to Crave" over the winter & it was a major stepping stone to my weight loss/fitness/wellness success! I highly recommend the book to everyone!

Update Jan 2014 - This is my 2nd time on Spark People. I got down to about 120-ish last time (2008-2009). Then I got sick with Lyme disease, sinus surgery, and stomach issues from the medicine I took for the Lyme disease & sinus issues. I got back up to my current heaviest (135) and stayed there for awhile.
Now I'm back again & plan to get to a lower number this time & STAY THERE!! I would love to get close to my wedding weight (100 pounds), but will be super happy staying in the one-teens.

My Goals:
~ Get to 112 pounds during Fall Challenge.
~ Pay $225 on one bill.
~ Participate fully in all Clover Leaf Team Challenges.
~ Finish 4th quilt (queen sized for hubby) & start 5th (lap for my mom)


My Program:
Exercise plan
~6 days a week of 30 min (at least) of fitness
~2 days a week of an extra 30 mins
~Complete Jessica Smith Apple Shape Plan

Nutrition Plan:
~ Stay in SP range most days of the week. Concentrate daily on:
5 freggies,
65 g protein,
10 cups water,
16 g fiber.
1 Apple a day
~ Twice Weekly:
1) Eat only fruit until lunch,
2) Eat 80 g of protein,
3) Eat 8 freggies.
4) Exercise 60 min per day


Personal Information:
I live in South Georgia & homeschool my 2 youngest children (my 3 oldest have moved out). I've been married to my high school sweetheart for over 24 years & enjoy being married now more than ever!

I am a Christian & believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. I believe a relationship with Jesus is so much more important than any religious rituals.
