Update 1 year on (1/1/2014)
If you told me a year ago that I would weigh 30 kgs less in 12 months, I would have been hopeful but unconvinced. I have a long way to go but I am liking the changes I am undergoing. I can now buy clothes in 'normal' shops and I don't avoid mirrors as much.
In 2014, I want to build on what I have started. I need to nurture myself and bring grace into my days. I need to find balance in my home and work. I need to make time for myself non-negotiable.

From 2013...
I usually come fairly low in my list of things to do! After the kids, work, house, garden, partner, friends and all the rest, I haven't had the time or energy to look after myself. The trouble is you don't realise that respecting yourself actually helps you to be effective in the other areas of your life. So, 2013, you are all about me!!

My Goals:
1. Consistently exercise for 10 minutes a day.

2. Lose 13 kgs to consistently exercise for 15 minutes a day. Started 23 April 2013.

3. BMI of 35. Achieved 25 May 2013.

4. Weight in double figures (kgs). Achieved 1 August 2013!

5. Lose 23 kgs to begin Couch to 5km program. Due to weight plateau, started early (couldn't wait any longer) on 3 July 2013.

6. Reach "Onederland" (90kgs - even though we don't use pounds here, it is a nice thought!). Reached 22 December 2013!

7. BMI of 29.9 - 88kgs ( no longer obese!).

8. Run with my teenagers in a fun run.

9. BMI in Healthy range - 73 kgs.

10. Goal weight. Post before and after pictures here.
