This was probably, like . . . at least a year ago. This is how much I like having my picture taken.

At a wedding, in August 2010, looking slightly disheveled.

Me, at what was probably very close to my highest weight. Yowza. Notice my sly attempt at hiding myself behind everyone else. Slick, huh?

I have 4 pics in my gallery

Movin' on down . . .
Hi there! I created a Sparkpage ages ago, promptly made it 100% inaccessible by others, and left it sitting, useless, for months. It took me a long time to get comfortable with the idea of "going public." I have a weird sense of embarrassment about discussing any topic related to my weight, my body, or basically anything to do with me. But then I decided that was stupid, so here I am, lettin' it all hang out. Kinda. I lost about 35 lbs on my own before finding SparkPeople, ...
Kinda. I lost about 35 lbs on my own before finding SparkPeople, then lost another 15 after SP. However, after some major life upheavals and not tracking my calories for over a year, about 7 of those lbs have sneaked up on me again. I've also decided to try to lose not only those pesky lbs, but maybe a few more as well! So here I am - back again! Even though I'm not at my lowest weight, I'm still pretty proud of the fact that I've (mostly) maintained my loss since I started losing almost 4 years ago.

My Goals:
- BMI of 22 or lower by 5/31/12 (Lose 19-24 lbs in 20 weeks). - Track my measurements monthly, weigh in weekly. - Strength training for at least 15 minutes, 3 times each week. - Practice yoga for an hour or more, 2 times each week. - Make a healthy recipe for dinner, at least once per week. - Stop the jiggly madness. - Feel unthreatened by the hotness of others.
Personal Information:
I'm Jen. I'm known to be snarky. I was a fat kid, then a fat teenager, then a fat college student, then a fat young adult. Finally, I had some sort of Oprah moment in which I literally felt like I was wearing a fat suit, and thought "ENOUGH!" So now I'm learning how to be a not-fat adult. Favorite way to burn calories without trying: Car-dancing while singing at the top of my lungs (really badly, but no one can hear me! . . . . I hope!) Weirdest place I've lost weight - My feet. Seriously. I didn't anticipate having to buy new shoes AND new clothes. Best tip I've learned so far from a fellow Sparky (and incorporated into my daily routine): Do ten squats every time you visit the Little Girls' Room - THANKS MRSBLT82!
