My first weight loss goal was 23 pounds. It took 6 months (the scale did not move the whole month of January 2014), but I finally made it on Sunday, March 16. Now for the next 10 . . .
The George Strait concert was awesome! It was our first time to hear him, and we figured may be our last chance. Didn't love the mass of humanity at Phillips Arena, and not getting home till 1:30 A.M. though! Must be getting old!
Thanks for the encouragement on my blog about my wife's health. This has been a rough time for both of us. Although we know the eventual outcome of all of this, we're hoping it can be at home where she can be more comfortable. Thanks again!
I turned 60 a couple of months ago, I am a retired teacher (30 years - you outlasted me!) I adored teaching, but like you am so grateful to have time to pursue my other passions: my grandson, gardening, and God. I live in north Georgia with my husband of 40 years with our dog and two horses.
