So glad you've joined us! May I suggest that you join a team or two of folks with similar interests? That usually helps me to keep myself motivated. Set some short and long term goals. Then, set about to accomplish them. Post how you are doing on your teams. In no time, you'll be invested in yourself!!

I also stress eat and I have rescue animals. We currently have three cats and two dogs (all rescues).
I know how hard it can be to get motivated and eat right. Unlike you I prefer sugar. I don't like fresh fruit. I only like the kind saturated in corn syrup in the can. I think after so many years of eating a diet in high sugar my taste buds have been affected. I am trying now though to kick that habit. It's hard for me to not reach for the donuts or pastries but I have been successful for the past few days since I started here.
I know that you have the strength and determination to do this. Always remember that you are a beautiful, worthwhile woman. What you see in the mirror is only a shell. What you are as a person is inside.
