Time for a Change

Hi, I'm Janet. I've been on SP for awhile, but needed to take a break. I'm back now and starting where I began, but I know that this is the way to success. I have some other issues in my life to take care of, but who doesn't? If I can take charge and develop some healthy habits, I'll be one step closer to where I need to be. The only way to get there is by taking things one day at a time and implementing one change at a time.

My Goals:
I know I should have some long term goals listed here, but I haven't fared well in those lately. So I'm implementing daily goals that incorporate how I'd like to live my life. One of those daily goals is to do one important thing each day. I think this goal will be my key to reaching any long term goals that I set.


My Program:
Here are my Daily Goals:
1. Start each day with prayer.
2. Eat a good/big breakfast.
3. Do 1 important thing.
4. Help someone.
5. Eat all my meals before 9pm.
6. Exercise for 1 hour.
7. Connect with family/friends.
8. Reflect and meditate on the day.
9. End the day with prayer.
10. Get a good nights sleep.

Personal Information:
Most people identify themselves with their jobs, but I don't. Right now, I earn a living as a bookkeeper for a regional library cooperative. I used to be a high school teacher for 9 years. Although I don't miss the classroom, being a teacher is still how I identify myself. I love to share what I have learned with others, and still do so in my volunteer jobs.

Other Information:
I love to volunteer. I help tutor through our local literacy council, and I'm a docent for a local botanical garden/sculpture park.

This is SO weird! You have been on my mind so much for the past few days. I kept thinking that I had to get in touch with you. It is amazing that you suddenly pop up and get in touch with me! So glad to have you back! I want to hear lots more from you and know how you are doing.

emoticon I HAVE FINALLY SEEN 159 ON THE SCALE!

I have been fighting to get through the 160's for the entire 2011 year and have finally made it. I'm extremely excited because what I'm doing this year is really working. I have made it through another weight loss milestone and wanted to share with all of my spark friends.
