I am a 47 year old wife and mother of 4. I have been overweight my whole life. It is just recently that I decided that I needed to do something about my weight.this has been a long and hard struggle for me. My Goals:
my goal is to lose weight and to be healthy.
My nutrition goals:
1. to eat more balanced meals
2. try a new recipe every week
My fitness goals:
1. to do some sort of cardio everyday at least 10 minutes
2. to do more strength training 3x a week
My spiritual goals:
1. read my Bible everyday
2. Memorize James 1 and work on James 2

My Program:
1. I will track all my food
2. I will measure my food so I know how much I am eating
3. I will eat 5 to 6 fruits and veggies a day
4. I will do 5 to 10 min of strength training 3 days a week
5. mix up cardio between walking and treadclimbing
6. spend 1/2 hour to 45mins a day in God's word which includes memory verses and prayer time

Hey there!

I am sorry that I have been gone for a while, I had some challenges, and setbacks in my weight loss goals. I posted a blog for everyone yesterday.

I am back on Spark, I re-started this healthy journey last Thursday and I am glad to be back! I need to get healthy and lose this weight.

I am looking forward to cheering on my fellow Sparkers, and hearing from them.

Hi, I just stopped by with a little update about my job. I really like it, and I like the people I'll be working with. I think I'll be able to learn some more Chinese there. At any rate I'd say it was a successful first day although today my feet hurt so much I can barely walk. I do think that will get better though.
