I am a 47 year old wife and mother of 4. I have been overweight my whole life. It is just recently that I decided that I needed to do something about my weight.this has been a long and hard struggle for me. I know what to do and how to do it but making myself do it is another thing. I want to be around for my children and any grandchildren that come along. I have found that if I keep my eyes on Jesus my savior I am more motivated. I have many ups and lots of downs but am finding this is a ...

I have many ups and lots of downs but am finding this is a journey and will not happen over night. I would like to lose 80 pounds.

There are so many up-sides to exercise! It enhances your quality of sleep, adds sparkle and radiance to your complexion, increases your energy, decreases your risk for osteoporosis, improves your body shape, increases your mental focus and self-esteem, tones and firms your muscles, makes your body use calories more effectively, reduces your risk of a heart attack and breast cancer, improves your posture and muscle chemistry, eases and can eliminate back problems and pain, enhances immune system, reduces joint pain, strengthens your heart, improves blood flow and puts you in a good mood! There are so many positives that it is hard to find any “down side” with exercising. When you start an exercise program there may be a little discomfort, but isn’t a small temporary discomfort worth all the benefits you are getting with exercise? Let's get moving!
