I am a 47 year old wife and mother of 4. I have been overweight my whole life. It is just recently that I decided that I needed to do something about my weight.this has been a long and hard struggle for me. I know what to do and how to do it but making myself do it is another thing. I want to be around for my children and any grandchildren that come along. My Goals:
my goal is to lose weight and to be healthy.
My nutrition goals:
1. to eat more balanced meals
2. try a new recipe every week
My fitness goals:
1. to do some sort of cardio everyday at least 10 minutes
2. to do more strength training 3x a week
My spiritual goals:
1. read my Bible everyday
2. Memorize James 1 and work on James 2

My Program:
1. I will track all my food
2. I will measure my food so I know how much I am eating
3. I will eat 5 to 6 fruits and veggies a day
4. I will do 5 to 10 min of strength training 3 days a week
5. mix up cardio between walking and treadclimbing
6. spend 1/2 hour to 45mins a day in God's word which includes memory verses and prayer time

Aloha Janine emoticon You asked about visiting other teams. Do you know people on other teams? Pop in and visit and listen and see how they interact. With 20+ teams, if you read the team profiles that is one thing but truly seeing the team in action and, if you have friends on a team, talking to them if it seems like it might be a good fit for YOU is the best way. Go to the team chat threads and they are listed and you just pop over. Do you ever go to another team and congratulate them when they are the biggest losers for the week? I an sorry about True Blue. They are a great team with a great vibe. Wishing you emoticon finding a just right fit for YOU!

Getting in your water is a great NSV! Remember, it can relate to ANYTHING! Perhaps ask yourself at the end of each day, what NSVs you had! Then jot them down and see how many you can accumulate. Let's see if you can pick up some more fitness minutes this coming week. You can report how you're doing with those minutes (and with your NSVs) on the chat thread. xo
