Like many people on Spark, I feel like I have been on a never ending road to reaching my weight loss goal, but I have made some other amazing accomplishments along the way.

First of all, I love to exercise! I never thought I would say that! I have fallen in love with Zumba, Kickboxing and Jillian Michael's workouts. I have also discovered that waking up at 4:45 A.M. to complete a workout program with your husband is a great way to start the day! The feeling after a great workout is the BEST!

On 3/20/10 I ran my 1st 5K and learned why people love RACE DAY! I do not run to win the race, but love the adrenaline of race day, and the chance to beat my own time. In March of 2011, I ran my first 10K!!! 2013 was a big year for me - the big 4-0 and the decision to train for my 1st half marathon. On Labor Day I ran my 2nd 10K. On November 17th I completed my first half - not as well as I would have liked, due to an injury, but I finished!

So...I did not reach my weight loss goal, but I HAVE accomplished a lot! One step at a time!!! I know one thing - I will NEVER GIVE UP!

11/14/13 Half Marathon DONE!
4/19/15 2nd Half Marathon DONE!
