Time to start making those healthy choices I keep telling my kids about! It is about eating healthy, moving freely and getting out of my "fat clothes".

Thanks for the comments. I wish it had been just me they listened to, but I think a lot of other people had complained. Plus I think the county had to do a lot of clean up from all the trash, cigarette butts, other debris left by the "invaders". At least they got the problem fixed for now. emoticon

Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such supportive comments. You are a great Spark Friend. I think the swallowing is directly linked to the part of her brain where the stroke happened. She also has lost her speaking ability and quite a bit of mobility on the right side. No one has come right out and said exactly how damaging the stroke was. One doctor said it was "massive" but wouldn't elaborate any further. She cannot swallow water at all and is being hydrated with a feeding tube. If she didn't have that she would have died weeks ago. This stroke is different than when my mom had hers and when my uncle had his. Both of them didn't lose eating ability, though my uncle was never able to really speak again. My mom lost her ability to walk, but in the end, it was inoperable cancer that cut her life short. emoticon emoticon
