What's Humming?

After initially being introduced to Spark People in 2010, I left in quick order. I returned in late December 2013 and have undergone an amazing transformation. I feel so much better. I love the feeling of being “at home” in my body again!

I am Living Healthier with Spark People. It is the first day of spring 2016. The 9th maintenance challenge in which I’ve participated is coming to an end and I find myself maintaining an 85+ pound weight loss.

Our pergrine falcons nest in the forested parklands behind our house . . . generally in the top of a dead conifer. The variety of birds in the backyard is quite marvellous after many years of reliably stocked birdfeeders: but the birdfeeder at work is a recent experiment and the birds are slowly finding it there! We are quite keen birdwatchers: that's the main focus of our travel together -- DH is the photographer!

My BP has been high since my son got sick. Walking is supposed to help bring it down. I have removed lots of stress from my life, it isn't going down

Thanks Jean, that helped me to determine that the snake was more than likely a type of water snake. But, it sure looked like a copperhead to me! Regardless, I sure hope it doesn't show up again! We will go buy some snake repellent soon...the stuff does work. You pour these stinky pellets all around your house and we didn't see anymore for a year until just now. Glad you have enjoyed the pics I posted today. I love taking them! emoticon
