I am Living Healthier with SPARKPeople. Several years ago my SPARKPeople account was established. Shortly thereafter, unexpected events unfolded in my life and my attempt to improve my health quickly went by the wayside.

It seemed that in the blink of an eye years had passed. Summer 2013 I began walking routinely. In December 2013 I returned to SPARKPeople. I had successfully sustained my walking routine for 6 months. It was time to improve my nutrition.

Easy and hills: It's all relative. Easy is when I control the pace, and just run slower than I could. The standard hill workout, which I haven't done in a long time, is to run hard up the hill and recover/run easy coming back down. There are more extreme hill workouts that involve steeper trails, or running hard for X minutes, or 550 meters of the steepest part of the hill as an interval, or whatever; those are not in my plan right now. The hardest I might do in the near future is let myself run tempo in the hill workout, after I recover from Sunday's half.
