A Better Me

There are so many times that I have thought "when I lose weight I will..." or "when I lose weight I want to..." well why do I have to wait? Answer is that I do not have to wait. I love my life but there are some things that I have not been doing b/c of my weight. Yes I admit that it would love to be skinner and fit into any pair of jeans without having to suck it in. However will it really make me a better person? No I will be the same person that I am now only a size or 2 (or hopefully ...

I love my life but there are some things that I have not been doing b/c of my weight. Yes I admit that it would love to be skinner and fit into any pair of jeans without having to suck it in. However will it really make me a better person? No I will be the same person that I am now only a size or 2 (or hopefully many) sizes smaller. I will always have the same personality and sense of humor and my friends will still love me just the same. the difference is that I will love myself more. What????? No I will not love myself any more just because I am skinny. I need to love myself now and enjoy my life now and I will be a better me. If I lose weight in the process that is great ( and of course I will try and do hat b/c that is what I am here for). The point is that I do not want my weight to define who I am only I can do that.

My Goals:
My goal to being on spark people is to help me lose some of the weight that I have accumulated over many years. I have tried WW and others but have always lost interest. I am not really good with sticking to something. I hope that this time that trying a different method will help me .

My Program:
Usually when I try something I go all out for awhile and then stop. I got a gym membership and went everyday for a couple on months and wore myself out. I think that if I just slowly try and change my habits they may stick this time.

Personal Information:
I am from a small town about 45 minutes south of Buffalo, NY. I lived in NC for about 5 years but moved home and there is no where else that I want to be.

Other Information:
Life is not about the breath you take but the moments that take your breath away.
