Guess what we are 1/2 through 2014 and I've gained more weight. Sigh. When will I learn? I'm trying but apparently not hard enough.

I'm going back to school for a whole other career and will graduate Sept. 2015; going for Medical Assistant with Limited X-Ray Applied Science Degree.

I'm learning to allow myself to love myself as I am at this moment. My goal is to learn better habits for eating and to not let it control me.

I lost 60 pounds around 2001 - 2006 by white knuckling myself down with logging every bite and weighing every gram/ounce plus exercising about 2 hours a day 6 days a week. Life got all wild and I couldn't take it at all anymore and I had re-injured my back a bit by um can you say over training. Well, I let it all goooooooo, I mean literally and didn't care anymore. Well, my back and joint pain has increased since I definitely gained more than my 60 originally lost. I need to lose closer to 75 - 80 pounds right now (233ish) July 2014. Ughh.

I'm aware it's a lifestyle change and I'm trying; I need to find my inner flame to get my arse in gear and not allow anymore excuses.

Worry over the future breeds anxiety. Fretting over the past breeds depression. Both can stop our good movement forward and put us in front of the TV with a bad movie and too much of the stuff we don’t need to put into our bodies. That horrid cycle, of course, breeds regret and dread that brings us to more of the same. I believe that is called “insanity”.

Instead work to stay in the present taking the next step needed for living to the full the “now” that is before you, having learned better ways from past experience and pushing forward with hope that right action now will produce a better tomorrow. This is living life with power that produces a good outcome and protects our journey from wasting away.

Plan for the future, yes; but let the first plan be to live your best you in the now you have to possess.
