Chasing Boston: From 290 to 3:10:47
Hi all, I joined Spark to stay consistent and committed to a healthy lifestyle. After a dreadful March 2008, I decided to change my life and to lose the weight. My entire life I was overweight and at 290 pounds, I could hear the clock ticking. As a result of healthy choices and a running regiment, I lost 130 pounds and finished the 2008 Marine Corps Marathon 3:42:10! In October, I ran the Chicago Marathon at 3:16:48 and just qualified for the 2011 Boston Marathon after finishing ...

As a result of healthy choices and a running regiment, I lost 130 pounds and finished the 2008 Marine Corps Marathon 3:42:10! In October, I ran the Chicago Marathon at 3:16:48 and just qualified for the 2011 Boston Marathon after finishing 3:10:47 at the 2009 California International Marathon this past December.

My Goals:
After qualifying for the Boston Marathon, I am now setting my sights on breaking 3 hours. Proposed 2010 Race Schedule: February 28: RNR New Orleans June 6: RNR San Diego November: New York?
My Program:
During this past year, I ran between 60-85 miles per week. I try to lift weights three times a week and do everything I can to cut out sweets and soda.

I am a huge foodie and I love to travel. I've been to over 70 countries for work and pleasure.
