Feeling Good In My Own Skin!

Hi! I'm Jen - I used to be on Spark a while ago - I'm ready to recommit myself. I want to change some of these bad habits that I've picked up since winter hit.
I'm 32, married with 3 kids. The oldest is in junior high, the youngest is in elementary school. I work part-time, take classes part-time, and keep my household going full-time! :)
I've been struggling to keep off these same 10-20 stubborn pounds ever since I had my third son. It seems to be getting a little harder to ...

I've been struggling to keep off these same 10-20 stubborn pounds ever since I had my third son. It seems to be getting a little harder to drop the weight as I get older.
I need to do this for myself. I'm always battling self-consciousness whenever I go anywhere. Let me tell you - my husband is tired of hearing about it!

When I finally reach my goal weight, it'll be proof to me that I have it within myself to do whatever I set my mind to. I'd love to drop 20 lbs by the time the warm weather hits. I would be at the weight I was when I got married. No more muffin top!! yay! I also want to FEEL better too though. Becoming as healthy and vibrant as I can is just as important as fitting into smaller clothes.

I'd love to have a buddy to help motivate and encourage me! I'd definitely do the same for them!

Hi Jen, I am glad that I can be the first to comment on your very beautiful page. I love the background; it is so celestial and inspiring. I am so glad you reached out to me. I would love to be your motivational buddy since we have very similar goals and enjoy reading the same things. So I hoped you do not mind that I Sparked you as one of my new friends.

Also, congratulations on going back to school. I am a college admin who helps nontraditional age students (through academic support/counseling) to complete their degrees. So I fully understand where you are and so very proud of your courage to pursue your goals. You are so right when you said that by accomplishing one goal, it can empower you to accomplish many goals.

Best wishes,
Ronda
