Working towards Optimal Health

I am on a quest to better health. I have a long way to go before I'm there, but I know I didn't gain this weight overnight. It's going to take dedication, determination and support.

My Goals:
My overall goal is to lose 100 lbs. 100 seems like a large number to tackle all at once, so I have broken it down to 20lb intervals. My first goal is to lose 20# by Christmas. A gift for myself and for my husband, who I hope to surprise upon his arrival home from Afghanistan in December.

My Program:
Currently toying with the idea of exercise. I need to "just do it".

I am also more focused on eating whole grains, fiber filling foods and more fruits and vegetables (eating from all colors of the rainbow). I am also focused on lowering (and eventually eliminating) my intake of processed foods, fast foods and Coke.
