A new me

I am re-starting my weight loss journey. I have been on many diets but have had no success. I guess that's because it wasn't something I could sustain for a lifetime. I will now no longer do anything unless I can do it for life. I plan to set the most amazing example for my daughter in regard to healthy body image, nutrition, fitness, relationship with God, etc. I know there will be days where I'm excited and nothing can stop me, but I also know there will be more days - especially starting out ...

I will have to struggle with that and overcome it. I'm really looking forward to being the best, most wonderful possible version of myself - inside and out. I know a lot of my baggage will come from within due to my past, and I'll have to deal with that accordingly. But... this is the time... 2010 is my year for restoration. I'm embracing it. Who wants to join me?!

20-3o min activity 4-5 day a week

Drink more water, less diet soda

Limit eating out to twice a week

Stay within my calorie range

Lose 20 lbs at a time until I reach my goal weight

I am getting 20-30 minutes of physical activity 4-5 days a week, or better

I drink 8 glasses of water daily, most days

I track/journal what I eat

Keep a positive attitude

My name is Jennifer, most friends call me Jen or J. I'm 26. I am the mom of a 7 month old little angel. She's super precious. I'm working full time, going to grad school full time, and teach part time at the church. Include my daughter in that, and it makes for one crazy busy schedule to try and incorporate a new, healthier lifestyle in. I owe this to her.

Aww, your daughter is beautiful. I just read your message for the 20 something's with 50 or more pounds to lose group and wanted to thank you for posting it. I join spark last year and was beginning to lose weight, but once I went back to school my motivation seemed to have gone out the window. I am hoping to get myself back on track and happy that you passed that verse on to the group. emoticon emoticon

trying get all my cleaning done before the weekend lol.. kinda hard my son 2 and he makes the biggest mess ever lol... next month im getting a treadmill. do u have one ??
