Putting Some Pep In My Step

A former successful Sparker, I stayed healthy and on track before and during my pregnancy, and throughout my son's newborn phase. Then, I lost my focus as my son began to grow - carving out "me time" became harder, seemed like sacrificing time away from my son, who is the light of my life.

As of today (7/14/2014) my son is 22 months old. I've been off track for almost a year. I want to have energy, stamina and confidence again. So the march is on to get back to the lifestyle and weight I was when I felt healthy and happy - for me right now, that means a short term goal of about 21 pounds to my pre-pregnancy weight.

My Goals:
1) Comfortably wear a wardrobe completely from the non-plus size part of the store.

2) Comfortably wear my engagement ring and wedding ring (the rest of me went back to normal after pregnancy, except my fingers).

3) Wear my promise ring again - it hasn't fit in years.

4) I want to run, laugh and play without feeling uncomfortable or self-conscious.

My Program:
It's pretty simple: less food, more exercise. Better food choices, better recreation choices. No more TV as a pastime and ice cream as a friend during tough times.

Personal Information:
Native New Jerseyan, living in the southern part of the state outside of Philadelphia. I love the outdoors, flowers and reading.

When I fell is when my foot broke. He thought that was what caused it to have a stress fracture.
