Keep on running!

I am thoroughly enjoying running now, and while I'd love to lose those last 2-3 pounds that seem to be stuck, that is no longer my focus. My fitness level has continued to improve over the past couple years, and the more varied types of running I do (long distances, speedwork, etc.), the faster I'm getting! It's wonderful to continue to see improvements! I want to maintain a level of fitness so that I could run a 10K whenever I felt like it, and from there, a half marathon isn't much more ...

My Goals:
I have decided to train for a marathon that is scheduled for Sept. 2013!

I want to keep cross-training by going to Zumba and work more on strength and core training, since I know this will help me with my running.

My Program:
I run about 4 days per week and do Zumba 1-2 times per week.

Personal Information:
My name is Jessica and I live in NW/North Central PA with my husband, son, 2 basset hounds, and a cat.

Other Information:
Races done/planned:
4/2/11 - Cook Forest 5K - 30:29 min.
5/7/11 - Port Allegany 5K - I want to break 29 minutes! - 26:38 min (later found the course wasn't a true 5K distance)
6/4/11 - 10K leg of the God's County Marathon -goal to be below 1 hour - DONE - approx. 58:15 min.(my portion wasn't officially timed, going by my iPod)
7/4/11 - Firecracker 10K, Brockway, PA - 59:20 min.
10/16/11 - half marathon in Hershey, PA - 2:19:00 even! I did it!
3/24/12 - Warren WMCA 5K - 28:33 min.
5/12/12 - Port Allegany Library 5K - 31:17 min(Tip: dont' eat yogurt before a race!)
6/15/12 - Warrior Dash! - 3.38 miles & 13 obstacles - 41:17 min.
8/19/12: Drake Well Half Marathon in Titusville, PA - 2:07:45! I crushed my goal of finishing in 2:15:00 (and at the 10K mark I had a PR of 57:38!)
5/5/13 - Pittsburgh Marathon Relay (3.5 mi.) 32:06 min.
5/11/13 - Port Allegany Library 5K - 26:50 min. - a new PR!
5/24/13 - Fryburg 5K 27:00 min.
