Hi,

I am so ready for spring. It is a time of renewal, change, and rebirth. Flowers are about to make their appearance after a long winter of laying dormant. In many ways we should treat our bodies like those precious flower.

With flowers if they get too much nutrients, sun, or water they will die; or if they do not get enough they will die as well. Just like with our bodies, if we eat too much or do not eat enough our bodies suffer.

But if we watch what we eat and make sure we get our water in our bodies will feel healthier and we will have more energy. Which is why I am back at Spark people, but not only am I doing Spark People (for exercise, encouragement, and motivation) I am now also starting the Trim Healthy Mama plan.

Like Spring I am ready for the Change and renewal. Which is why I am starting Trim Healthy Mama. I am trying to get rid of my sugar and over processed foods (even though I am a drive thru Sue) and replace them with suppliments that are a healthier choice for me.

I am tired of this overly obese shell my body has come and am ready to change it, renew it, and rebirth my body so I can be the person that God wants me to be. So this spring I am ready to start blooming like the flower.

Fitness Minutes: 19,240

My Goals:
I want to be able to shop at other stores besides Lane Bryant and the Avenue.

I want to weight between 140 and 150

I want to walk a 5K

I plan on working my way little steps at a time, starting with 10 pounds.

I want to be able to go on rides and not have to tell my husbands and kids I can't ride because I wont fit.

Last I want to get off this high blood pressure pill. I hate taking pills so I only take them when I absolutely have too. So this is a big one for me.


My Program:
Just got a YMCA membership so my schedule will be:

Monday: swimming with boys from 9:30 - 11
Tuesday: 10 minutes
Wednesday: swimming with boys 9:30 - 11
Thursday: 10 minutes
Friday: cleaning at my grandparents house
Saturday: 10 minutes

With that I plan on tracking my food and staying within my calorie range.

Other Information:
I am a homeschooling mama. I don't like all of the testing the kids in public school do. I think time should be spent learning and doing more hands on then sitting at a desk all day to study for another test.

    I'm also on the THM team and would like to know how you are doing. We're all here for you. We have a new thread called Food Freedom - Book Study, please come and join us. We have a great team leaders and group of folks.

    I just started the very end of Jan. 2015. I bought the THM Plan book Feb. 10th and just got the Cookbook Mar. 10th. But I have started losing weight and inches. In 1 month I lost 5.25 inches and 5 lbs. and I'm a slow loser. Most folks lose faster than me.

    I know you must love the Trim Healthy Mama Plan and team as much I do!!! I'm adding you as a friend.
