I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Some other places I have lived include growing up in Alexandria, Minnesota, St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and serving in Thailand and Papua New Guinea for two years each.
Thanks for your comment on my blog. Made me feel less invisible. I have always wanted to play the cello, but it was too big to ship everywhere when my dad was military. I played the violin from 4th grade, through college, until 1982 when I broke my left wrist (followed by breaking the right wrist in 1985). I thought that playing the cello would not require as much rotation in the wrist as the violin.
