My Goals:
1. I will stay within my calorie range.

2. I will eat my 4-5 servings of fruits and vegetables

3. I will drink eight glasses of water every day

4. I will to exercise at least three or four times a week

5. I will write on the message board to give and get motivation.

My Program:
Following low fat, high fiber diet. Walking 3 miles a day with my husband every day. Being in the Ohio snow belt, not always possible to get out every day, but we'll try!

Personal Information:
Live in Ohio, 35 miles East of Cleveland in the legendary "snow belt" of Ohio. Married with two daughters, two step-sons, sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. If I had my choice of places to live, other than Ohio, it would be in the Smoky Mts.!

Other Information:
I like to read romance paperbacks when we travel, helps pass the time on the road.

I think my favorite movie is Ben Hur, although really like Grease, Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Sleeping With the Enemy and most Lifetime movies.

"It is important to then make a conscious effort to transform your thoughts. It may be true that you often cannot overcome your food cravings or stick to your diet.

"However, if there are times when you are able to stand strong, then FOCUS ON THOSE MOMENTS AND CELEBRATE THE TRIUMPHS. Maybe you put less sugar in your coffee today and said no to a second slice of pizza.

"Giving attention to the positive things will help to create greater self esteem and motivation to continue with your weight loss efforts."
