Let's make this the best July ever.
In all labor there is profit; but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury Prov 14:23 (Don't be mad about the results you didn't get, because you only talked about it and didn't do the work it required.)

You may be old, sick or very old and decrepit have a kind of emaciated body but if you practice, the perfection of yoga is certainly possible Hatha Yoga Pradipika

In "The Power of NOW" Eckhart Tolle teaches us to live for today. If we do that, all the days of the year will add up to our success.

"Never wait for the proper mood to start a thing, nor until the spirit moves you. Make your own mood. Make your own spirit. How? ACT. Do something anything. Inspiration seldom generates action. Action always creates inspiration."

I've been a Sparker for nine years. Joined Sparks in October '07. I've five children, 42, 32, 29, 27, and 26. (Four boys/one girl) I have four GDs, Grace Olivia (5), Chanel Ava (5), Lily Dona (5) and Chloe' Renee (3).

My ninth year goal is to EXERCISE daily now that I turned 67 and in my head I'm still 30.

HI !! Ur post is just before the one I may post on (ought OH AGE !) the woman who plays the piano and has the picture of her at Carnegie Hall.

Not sure if you watch the program about the older people who AMAZING things in their 60s, 70's, 80's and YES 90's !!! I think it's called "Forever Young" on NBC. I'm in my late 50's and 2 or 3 weeks ago was a lady who's 91 and she was doing GYMNASTICS !! I did while in school and I'd LOVE to get back to it. My feet are a HORRIBLE MESS, but you know "NEVER SAY NEVER" or those men who carry the boxes WILL CATCH US !!

It's NOT to late to learn to play. NOT at all. If you live in an area where there's a gathering place and if it (or a VFW etc) ask if you can use theirs. Now a days money is not a problem for if you go onto youtube.com and put in "beginners lessons piano" or any such similar words or "easy songs for piano" you WILL find many!! I know, I have always wanted to learn the electric guitar and I finally bought one 6 yrs ago. Youtube is AMAZING at helping us. Than I wanted to learn yoga,,, some thing.

WISHING YOU THE BEST and REACH OUT for that dream ! That's why we call them "A DREAM" and not "AN IMPOSSIBLE DREAM" which is a GREAT song for you to learn.

Seems like we have a great deal of synchronicity. Lots in common.

I have deep resonance with the Latin American culture and feel so comfortable during my sojourns in South America. For me it all began with a Peruvian boyfriend in the 70s. Completing the degree in Spanish Literature in 2014 kinda' brought me full circle.

I'm not sure why I was named Motivator...my SP participation is definitely minimal these days. I was Motivator way back-when and it made more sense then.

Oh yes! Joseph Campbell will always be way up at the top of my list of heroes!

I don't know that I will have enough prescription medication to get me through until I see the doctor at the VA clinic. It is really an odd feeling when you cannot trust your health to a medical doctor. Thank God for the Great Physician.

I know about Dr. Richard Bernstein, I have watched Diabetes University videos and have one of his books, and I am a part of the Reversing Diabetes group on Facebook.

I am on a Trulicity shot once a week and take a repaglinide pill before each meal. Metformin gave me bowel incontinence and I quit taking it on my own . My doctor didn't understand when I told her that I was soiling myself after every meal. I quit that doctor too. I mean, "What are they thinking?"

My goal is 125 pounds. I started at 279 pounds, but the important thing is keeping it off. 238 was my weight yesterday.

I hope God heals you and that there will be no residual problems from the injury.
