March is here with the LUCK of the IRISH

Make this the best month ever.
Make the 31 days of MARCH work for you.

In "The Power of NOW" Eckhart Tolle teaches us to live for today. If we do that, all the days of the year will add up to our success.

"Never wait for the proper mood to start a thing, nor until the spirit moves you. Make your own mood. Make your own spirit. How? ACT. Do something – anything. Inspiration seldom generates action. Action always creates inspiration."

I've been a Sparker for seven years. Joined Sparks in October '07. I've five children, 40, 30, 27, 25, and 24. (Four boys/one girl) I have four GDs, Grace Olivia (3), Chanel Ava (2), Lily Dona (2) and Chloe' Renee (12 months).

I'm happy for all my Sparker Friends, who have been so wonderful to me and to give Nathan encouragement.
My seventh year goal is to EXERCISE daily now that I turned 65 and in my head I'm still 30.

Thank you for comments on my page Scarlett is an amazing cat. She has the coat of the Ragdoll super soft but she has the personality of the Siamese, just a little bit of attitude sometimes.

Thanks for stopping by. I am determined to reach Goal this year. I'll be 67 in Sept so not getting any younger. Thanks for the suggestion to check out what sounds like the site of a really "young at heart" guy. Have a great month! Mary

I enlisted in the Air Force for four years. I married shortly after my father died to an Air Force Staff Sergeant. Soon his enlistment time was up and he was either going to reenlist or get out of the military. His reenlistment meant that he would do a tour in Vietnam and he opted to get out of the military. We were both stationed in Ohio at the time. The closest military base I could have gone to, to be close to where he was going to work once he was out- (Union Carbide in Cleveland, Ohio) was a place that the Navy had on Lake Erie, at that time they didn't have facilities for women and I was able to apply for a hardship discharge because we couldn't keep "a common household" (live together) without a lot of traveling. I was granted an honorable discharge for that reason and got all of the VA benefits. That was why I was only in the Air Force two years, 6 months and 21 days. I am sure much has changed since I was in back in 1970-72.

Yes, I am diabetic and I appreciate very much what you posted about Richard Bernstein M.D. Thank you!
