Let's make this the best FEBRUARY ever. This is my TENTH Sparkversary, so thanks to finally finding a doctor who put me on Metformin, Armour Thyroid, and Bydureon, I've been able to lose weight, with about 20# to go yet. I fell and broke my femur right below my hip joint in June, so I have a titanium rod with screws My bone scan showed I have no osteoporosis. The doctor tells me my bone isn't healing so I now have a Biomet Bone Stimulator to wear 24/7. She hopes it will help my leg heal so I won't have surgery again.. I'm continuing to exercise daily.

Thanks for your comment on my blog.
It would appear that most of your medications relate to type 2 diabetes.
1 of them relates to hypothyroidism
Glad these are being treated and you have experienced weight loss.
Were there any changes to your diet/activity also?
    Cheers Richard

Oh THANKS for answering. You are such a lovely person. I fully sympathize with the beaten up leg. I find walking very difficult....after a long period of illness and a surgery followed by a long stay in rehab, I lost so much muscle strength that it has been pretty painful and difficult. I am in almost no pain now but i still struggle to do what I need to do. I am happy that I am doing better and trying to get back on track with Spark. Now I need to get faithful and push through with some daily exercise. On Monday I will start with some regular routine.

How did you break your femur? Does it still hurt a lot? Can you get around? I still cannot do more than a couple of stairs so someone has to do my laundry in the basement. How is your beautiful family? emoticon

    Hi Jibbie,

I don't know if you remember me but I always remember how great you were to me in the past.. I am back, newly inspired and after some horrific medical problems, I am at it again. I started Feb 1st and I have lost 21 lbs as of today. Hope all is well with you. I hope you answer back.

    Love Clara
