Hi, my name is Jill and I am a Mom of 3 grown sons. Also Have a Beautiful DIL and an adorable Grandson and Granddaughter. Due to health reasons I had to retire from my job a couple of years ago. Getting strong and healthy is my main goal right now. I'm not very mobile due to a broken bone in my spine, arthritis and bad knees. I either use a cane or walker to get around. Hi, my name is Jill and I am a Mom of 3 grown sons. Also Have a Beautiful DIL and an adorable Grandson and Granddaughter. Due to health reasons I had to retire from my job a couple of years ago. Getting strong and healthy is my main goal right now. I'm not very mobile due to a broken bone in my spine, arthritis and bad knees. I either use a cane or walker to get around. I need/want to lose about 120 #s (I'm 5'8"). I have to do chair exercises as can't stand for too long due to my weak back. I'm trying to get my life back on track and stop emotional eating and use portion control. I want to be healthy again and know with SP, friends and family--and God's help it is doable. I really love all the encouragement, knowledge and motivation SP gives me. I still want to travel and be able to walk well and believe it's possible with a weight loss from eating healthy and exercising 15 minutes or more a day. I want to see my grandchildren grow up . . .

My name is Jill and I have lived in Southern California all my life. I have 3 grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law and two very cute young Grandchildren. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and friends.

I like to envision myself 100#s lighter and a more healthy me. I do try to think positive and not sweat the small stuff.

Jill as always its great to hear from you. Thank you so much for the birthday gift....I wonder with is inside the box. Can't wait to find out what is in store for me.

It's not that I am not around...I am here just doesn't seem to be a lot of time to get into the community teams. Although I do try to keep up with this. It's been a long busy summer and we are just settling down for FALL. I am sure I will find a way to be around more as I get some extra time.

I hope this finds you well and that things are better for you also these days.

I am making apple pies , apple crumbles, apple pandowdies you name it I am making it! Tomorrow I am picking gooseberries and blackcurrants to add to the mix.I forsee a busy weekend. Who stol August ?LOL!

Thanks for the goody. Yes Jill, it makes all the difference that we are all over 60 and struggling with trying to lose and stay healthy. I have found this group to be one of the most inclusive and warm groups. It helps me stay focused. Hugs, Linda ps hope I didn't misspell on my Kindle outside it is hard to see your spark page with the dark color.
